Michael K. Tran, M.D.
Dr. Tran graduated Magna cum Laude from Harvard College. He completed his M.D. at Harvard Medical School, a Medicine internship at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, and an Ophthalmology residency at UCLA's Jules Stein Eye Institute in 2004.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the California Association of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Tran has received numerous awards, including the Harvard Ames Award for Character and Leadership and a Monarch Healthcare Physician Recognition Award from for excellent service to patients and colleagues.
Besides patient care, Dr. Tran has also been involved in clinical research for Dry Eye and Cataract Surgery. He has published several articles about the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and designed a computer program to improve medical office efficiency.
